The SPD’s victory in Germany: What does it mean for the centre-left across Europe? – 24th November 2021

In September 2021’s federal election, the SPD topped the poll – confounding the expectations of just a few months previously, when opinion polls saw the party in third place. 

This was a joint event between Progressive Britain, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Aston Centre for Europe.
